Born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Jim grew up playing violin and viola before he found his place on guitar. For the past 7 years, Jim has toured with the Phase Band, playing guitar and singing with the band as they performed for numerous wedding receptions and corporate events throughout Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. Jerry is a singer-songwriter and a guy with a guitar, a mic & a harmonica living in Mount Airy, NC. He has released 4 solo albums, 2 of which were recorded at Sputnik Studios in Nashville with Grammy-winning producer Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay, Bebo Norman) and mixed by yet another Grammy winner, Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton). For the past couple years, he has been busy writing songs for future releases. Best guess puts that number of songs at around 150. You say you like to hear songs you already know? Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Jack Johnson, Bruce Springsteen, etc. No problem. Jerry actually plays in a couple bands and can offer anything from "mellow, but fun" to "this might get loud."
